Co-development Workshop: Individual Support Plan and Profiling Support Too
08 October 2026 - 13:00
As we prepare for changes linked to national SEND reform, we are developing approaches that can support greater consistency in how children and young peopleu2019s needs are identified, understood and supported. This interactive workshop will provide an opportunity to help shape two emerging resources: an Outcome/Profiling Support Tool and an Individual Support Plan. Both are at an early stage of development, and your experience and feedback will be important in ensuring they are practical, effective and user-friendly for schools, settings and professionals. The session will include: Shaping descriptors of need Exploring how the tools could be applied and used in practice Identifying what would make them useful and manageable for schools and professionals Sharing feedback to inform the next stage of development This is a co-development workshop, so participants will have a genuine opportunity to influence the development of the tools before they are finalised. We are running 2 workshops (same workshop repeated) so please choose from the following dates to suit you: 30th September, 9:30-11:30 via Teams 8th October, 1-3pm at Pride Park Stadium
